Lighting, an industrial-grade weather monitoring station and a Professional Grade Starlink satellite operate 25’ above the trailer, providing consistent, reliable and broad site coverage. During active fires or emergencies, this mobile emergency communications and weather unit helps ground crews understand current conditions, supporting search, incident command, suppression strategies and the use of tactical fire-firing devices.
LOGISTICS
Weather data can be accessed on site or remotely from a command centre. The satellite system provides WiFi calling, VPN access, Site-to-Site network connectivity and high-speed satellite internet. This dependable communication solution with broad reach helps organizations comply with work safety regulations, such as Part 28 of the Alberta OHS Code (employees who work alone must have an effective means of communication with the employer or a person designated by the employer).
